Our whole lives we seek the passion to discover. We strive towards discovering our own world starting since our childish first steps. And as we began our adventure of life, we discover the things we love, our hobbies, which bring us excitement, joy, happiness, new friends and adventures. In my case, it was about travelling.
I have always liked discovering new cultures and their traditions, new countries with their tiny adorable streets, cute cafes and relaxing atmosphere of coffee shops. While travelling, I began learning about different lifestyles, looking from time to time for some Italian or French specialties, my second passion was burning, the passion for discovering coffee – its origin, legends, places and in general passion for the versatile life of the humble coffee bean.
My coffee journey started in Germany, exactly at the place I was dreaming about since I was in high school, the City, I wanted to be in, the country, I was in love with its language and culture. I had a feeling that something was and is calling me to come back every time I’m apart from it. In a few months I discovered that it was the roasting smell of the coffee. It was inviting me to its undiscovered, wild and full of excitement world.
Düsseldorf is a fantastic city for those, who love to be and as well to live international. It’s a Little Tokyo with a diversity of Asian food, various shops and exhibitions, a center of a bunch of worldwide companies, famous designers and boutiques. Despite of all this fascinating features, this town is definitely where quality caffeine and innovative lifestyle are in perfect balance within a multicultural life. Seems to be paradise if you love a Flat White and Louboutin heels as much as I do!
What could be better than to remain on the lookout for a steaming cup of happiness in such coffee shops as Woyton or Die Kaffee (both can be found on the coffee map), which astonish with their easy-going and relaxed atmosphere, friendly service and delicious coffee. I can completely entrust to their baristas, who will prepare my cup of coffee from fresh roasted coffee beans depending on the way I want to have it today – French Press, Pour Over, Chemex, Flat White or Cappuccino.
It’s hard to say, which coffee is the best one and which preparation is the most preferable. It’s like a rose. At the end of a day it’s just a flower. But each rose has its own essence – mild, strong, sweet, light or dull. There is always an opportunity to mix them for a special unforgettable scent or just to leave it up to simplicity, to have a saturated and rich odor.
Let your coffee and your soul bloom this spring and bring you peace and joy.
